Tudor Sailing club

Established in 1949 Tudor Sailing Club is a friendly, family focused club on the western shore of Langstone Harbour.

The club has thriving communities for sailors and rowers, as well as those who like to be out on the water in kayaks and on SUPs.  Encouraging young people to enjoy the water is also important to us and your younger family members can join our cadet section as a great way to gain independence and confidence.

We offer moorings as well as compound space to enable easy storage and quick access to the water.  There are also club dinghies, rowing gigs and kayaks available to hire anytime allowing you to have fun, get fit, and improve your skills without the need to own the gear.

As well as a recreational and racing calendar that extends through the winter, the club is proud to encourage all our members to try new water sports and activities via both our social calendar and taking advantage of the discounts available to Tudor members who want to learn new skills with our neighbours ASWC.

We launch into the sheltered, quiet waters of Langstone Harbour, with a slipway extending to low water springs, enabling access to the water at all states of the tide, and excellent access to the Solent and beyond.

If you'd like to find out more about our club, come along to an informal prospective members meeting. The monthly dates are on our website. You can book on via the 'join us' page.  Or contact our Membership Secretary or Rear Commodore if you have any questions. We'd be happy to help. Intro sessions for rowing and cadets are currently available, just send a message to either of the email addresses below. We look forward to welcoming you.

How to find us

Whilst a SatNav is useful, sometimes using just the postcode isn't enough. This information below may be of use for some people new to the area.

Leaving the A27 at the Portsmouth (E) / Southsea junction, follow the Eastern Road towards Southsea. At the first set of traffic lights turn left and follow the turning to the right signposted "Watersports Centre Portsmouth". Tudor Sailing Clubhouse is the first building on the left before the Sports Centre.
